Step 1: Take the Elliptical Marquee tool and select the front fender area of you car. Copy and Paste this as a new layer.

Step 2: There are several ways to do this, but I'll show you one of the easiest ways. I took the new layer and used
the Transform (Ctrl+T) function. Take the center tabs of the tranform box and stretch the top upward
and drag the bottom lower. Since we're not going to use this tire anymore, go ahead and cut it out with the Polly
Lasso tool and Delete it.

Step 3: Might as well lower the car since that's what we're making the fenders to accomodate. Select the background
layer and Outline the car with the upper portion of the background like you would when normally lowering
a car. You can trace around your new fender lip when doing you outlining. You won't be needing any parts behind it. Copy and Paste as a new layer.

Step 4: It's important when you're lowering to bring all layers that are part of the car with it. An easy trick for
this is, when you already have the new car layer selected, hold down ALT+Shift and left
click your mouse on any extra layers you want to include. This will show in your layers menu as having these parts
selected. Now you can Move the layers down to your desired ride hieght. Now select just the fender
layer and drop the opacity to around 30%. If the tire is turned at an angle you'll need to cut out any parts of the fender
where the tire would be sticking out past it. Use the Polly Lasso and outline this area of the tire.
With the fender layer still selected, Delete this area. You may also have to Delete
the layer behind it too to clear anything in the way. Bring your opacity back up to 100%

Step 5: To clean things up, I used the Warp function that's part of the Transform
tools in the newer versions of photoshop. I used this to bring the body lines back to match each other and any last minute
tweaking I want to make.
- You now have the room to make the tires bigger which will allow for bigger rims. Play around with this and have fun creating
new some wild customs.
